hello everyone, i am a job seeker and I received job offer email from Dubai company named al tariq contracting llc. The email sent to me is from the private email but not the official email I found on that company website. Anyone can help me with this, because i am really looking for a job, but when i want to find someone in LinkedIn for the same company, i cant add them as friend(due to limitation of linkedin), i really want to ask someone if the contract that the company sent me is valid or whole thing is fraud.   when i search for the HR manager name "alkan alkantro" , i find that in google search result, there is a post asking the same thing(but now is deleted) for asking for help to verify the email thing.

anyone in dubai with good people network can help me??please.. thank you

Be careful it's a fraudulent job..  Dont fall into d trap. He is sending to many. Money makes from Nigerias.

Look these sort of things are quite common in the GCC.   I even posted a detailed warning on this in the forum.

Your questions should be answered.

Have  no clue how smart they can be..  But I doubt if they got succeed by doing this..  If I had to be in Dubai i would had reported to the Dubai police..  I have their call records with me. I got a call from the HR no which shows in their website. Strange

Some people really don't bother  to check the reviews,  they blindly get excited and manage to arrange money for their future..

XTang

Yes and that is exactly why they are very successful.  You won't believe that even on the forums when I have pointed out that it is a scam, people have refused to believe me and gotten angry.  Desperation leads to death of common sense.

Did you too get an offer from Al Tariq contracting LLc?

XTang

No.  Why is that relevant?

Luckily they aren't very smart at all and they're all very easy to bust - but only if you take the time to look.

The first very clear warning sign is easy - You get a job you didn't apply for
The second is equally easy to spot - They ask you for cash

If they ask for documents with either of the above, there's a fair chance they're into identity theft as well, especially if you send your passport as that could well be handy for drug smugglers and terrorists, either potentially leaving you in very deep trouble.

A few simple bits of brain work is all anyone needs to avoid these scammers - Sadly ........

Please stay safe. Some of my friends received such a job offer which turned out to be a scam
