My frnd M is in malaysia on dependent pass of her wife and he registered a company through mdec now they want to cancel his dependent pass from immigration before giving any latter of approval or rejection of his new visa so what he do.

Has he applied yet for an Employment Pass as director of the company?
Has he placed the required Paid-Up Capital in a corporate bank account yet?
Whether he will be successful in the EP application also depends on his skill set in relation to the type of company. Immigration can reject EP if they consider him just as an investor.
Hopefully he is dealing directly with MDEC

I think what they may want to do is for him to leave the country and re-enter potentially on a Visa with Reference (VDR).
This would be because his future EP is connected to the incorporation of a company and is a completely different sector than the current EP or DP under an employer.
