I want to import some items from China but through air cargo.Does anyone knows how much are the import fees?
I read in various sites
The Philippines Customs apply a value added tax (VAT) for imported goods at 12 percent. The Philippines' customs levy no tariff or tax for goods worth less than P10,000 (US$200).
However I am not quite sure what this means.Can someone explain?

Pretty straightforward goods worth less than 200USD No duty over $200USD 12% duty. It would on the purchase price not any other valuation dont get conned into believing anything else
