I signed up recently in the commune of St. Gilles with a temporary address (the hotel where I am staying). But I'm moving to Woluwe St Pierre next week and I'd like to know how to proceed to register at the new address.
Should I cancel the registration in St Gilles?
When asked what day I arrived in Belgium I say the original day (two weeks ago)?

Yes, it is the best to cancel the registration in St Gilles and to do a fresh registration in your new commune where you will live long-term.
