Need information about kitchen utensils

Hello, this is kanchana from South lndia. I'll move to Basel, Switzerland in next couple of months. Having so many doubts in my mind. Ll be happy if someone helps me.
Someone pls suggest me regarding kitchen utensils.. I'm planning to bring iron box and mixer grinder to Swiss along with me... Are there any power specifications for them in Swiss? Or any other points I have to consider while buying??

Welcome to the Forum :)

In Switzerland, the standard voltage is 230 V and the frequency is 50 Hz. You can use your electric appliances in Switzerland, if the standard voltage in your country is in between 220 - 240 V (as is in the UK, Europe, Australia and most of Asia and Africa).

Type J is used almost exclusively in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Thanku so much... In India, power supply is 240volts, 750 watts. So I can bring electric appliances. Thank you very much.

The frequency matters to things with clocks, that including timers but this won't be an issue for you as India uses the same 50 htz
You're going to have to watch out for customs checks and import duties that might make shipping an expensive option.
