Future expat

Hello everyone,
My name is Corbin, my wife and I live in a small rural town in SE Georgia, USA. I am a teacher and she is a nurse. We are 2 and 3 years, respectively, away from retirement. We are trying to decide where we would like to retire to and the DR is on our radar. We have visited Costa Rica, Jamacia, Mexico, Bahama's, so basically our compass points South. We have rented a VRBO in Cabarete for July of 2019 and would like to look at property as well as visit other areas close to Cabarete while we are there. We are seeking advice as to local real estate agents we can trust to show us around and give us an idea as to where we might like to settle down if that becomes reality.
