Want to move from Sweden to the USA

Hi! I'm a 17 year old guy that wants to get some help and tips with moving to the USA, kind of like with work and where to live.

Thanks!

What would you do, be a college student?  You will not qualify for a specialized work visa, but if you will harvest fruits and vegetables, be willing to move around, there may be work available soon.

Even seasonal agricultural workers need nonimmigrant work visa (H-2A) to work in the US, and employers must prove that US workers are not available for the positions.  It's illegal to work on a visitor visa or Visa Waiver Program (for Sweden passport holders).

Hi,

Moving Company in Chicago is looking to hire qualified candidates. If you wish to know more about the job opportunities please visit Hollander Moving

At your age maybe you might want to consider:

Apply to US college, get accepted, get F-1 visa, work on campus, get a degree (even an AA) in the hospitality field or another special field, apply for a job in the hospitality field  or another special field where there is a shortage of qualified Americans (e.g., Swedish Chef, Swedish Masseuse, interpreter/translator, furniture maker, certified Volvo Mechanic, etc.), and then apply for H-2B or J.  Or start a certain kind of business or buy one in US and be willing to invest at the minimum US$50K.  Yes, your status would still be Non-Immigrant but depending on which NIV you get you are allowed to stay and work in the US for a certain number of years.  During which time you can figure out if you want and how to stay on permanent basis.
