Question about getting a Greek residency or citizenship

Hello, My husband is Greek and his family lives in Athens. He is also a USA citizen. Unfortunately his mother's health has been in decline and we must relocate to Athens on a part time basis. We will likely live there 6 months out of the year. I am a USA citizen. Because I will be staying in Greece i probably will need to get some kind of residency or become a citizen. Is this difficult?

You should contact your nearest Greek embassy or consulate and take official advice.As your husband is Greek you will be entitled probably to a visa/permit.You will not be able to gain citizenship as you have no history of living here even though your husband is Greek.
