I have a business visa for 5 years with multiple entrance I added my wife and kids to it we are now in Saudi Arabia for more than a month my question am I allowed to travel out of ksa and leave my family or they have to go out with me?

Depends on what you mean when you say "Added them to it". Do they have escort visas?

No it is not escort visa but it is a business visa to each one of them that says they are companion of me .

dear xtang, i came on a 2 year business visa and my wife could only get 90 day companion visa one time entry. now i am here and wondering how to get her status also changed to match with my visa validity as my engagement is getting extended so we need to stay here and keep travelling every month or so. my question is how to get her visa changed to match with my visa please. obliged for ur guidance

Unfortunately, she probably would need to get a new visa after exiting. But check through your sponsor if they can approach Jawazat to get extension while in country.
