Work permit

I'm Colombian, a European Institution (the Single Resolution Board) Based in Brussels hire me to work here thru an outsourcing company (Randstad). I arrived in November 2018, and today I'm still without work due to my work permit as they told me, I can't check my work permit status at Brussels office, I have to trust them as they say. I'm legally allowed to stay in Belgium until February 12th, I'm almost in bankruptcy due to the translation and living expenses. I want to know my rights in this situation, I tried to conciliate but they started the work permit process, I agreed with that.
I want to know my rights about this case as a foreigner? can you help me whit this case or know someone who can?
in case of been possible, Who should I sue Randstad or the Single Resolution Board?
How long can a work permit take? now are 6 weeks since in the process started, do you know if I can check it?
Can I go and put a legal suit on them? they literally put me in bankruptcy.
There is a way to stay illegally and get my work permit?

I appreciate any help you can give,
Best Regards,
Claudio.
