Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone would know what are the requirements to become a taxi driver in Malta.
We are considering moving to a different country (curr. living in Czech) and Malta seems like a great place for us.
My boyfriend works as a taxi driver here in Czech and since he likes his job he was thinking of doing the same in Malta.
We checked the Transport Malta webpage but it's not really user friendly and I would rather hear some first-hand experience.

Welcome to the Forum,maybe you should come here on holiday first and then decide if taxi driving is a good idea.

At least you know what the driving and roads are like, there are plenty of taxi companies so probably. could get a job with them but would need to pass the test to become a taxi driver, good luck.

To become a white taxi driver costs 250 000 Euro.
It's easier for the other kinds of taxi. If his English is good and he has a good car Taxify is really good and quite easy to work for but they only accept people with good English
