Companies willing to hire foreigners

Hello!

I am moving to Malaysia from Europe in a week and I am looking for a job. My boyfriend moved there two years ago when he got a marketing job in a company. I just finished my Master's degree and am looking for a job in Human Resources/Recruitment/Psychology. I have been looking for about two months now and I haven't had any luck. I am also open to internships or anything else. Do you know any companies that are willing to hire foreigners or have a diverse workforce? Also do you have any other advice for me?

Hi issue is that you ave no (or haven't said so) any experience. In my experience most trailing spouses find it hard to get work and yoj are not married so harder.

Some companies do hire exoat HR staff, but experienced ones.

I don't normally recommend coming to look for work in Malaysia, but as you will have your bf house and feed you (I presume!) the costs are minimal so come, join internations events and network like mad is best bet. People don't usually help internet strangers, good old face to face is best!

First of all don't give up.
There are companies that hire foreigners and it's not as hard to find a job as everyone says. If your bf is working here I assume he has a working permit therefore you should be able to apply for one as well. If you will get one, then finding a job is much easier. Places like call centres, helplines and other ones that require good language and communication skills hire people on daily basis, only trick to it is visa. My advice would be to try and find any job that will provide you with income, then limit yourself to looking for job in your specialization. Again, it's not as scary as people say.

Try Jobstreet and some facebook group and start applying for job while you are in Europe .. It is not that difficult if you have skills !

Try malaysia jobs app , lot of offer

Human resources is one of the Local careers (similar to banking)  so its difficult to break into as a Foreigner. Try other types of job.

Usually need 3 years relevant professional experience to qualify for a work permit so emphasize that rather than just qualifications on applications

Networking is the best option as already suggested
