Hi,

I'm diving into the Bulgarian history and it's difficult to find good books about it. Does anybody know some good books in English (or Dutch)? German is also fine.

Also looking for books about Bulgarian folklore.

Can someone help me?

There are many books in Bulgarian, but I've never searched for books in English. Will see what can be done.

I would recommend an author - Stefan Tzanev, he has a very popular series of books on Bulgarian history and there's a good chance that some of these are translated into English or German.

As for the folklore, this will probably be easier ... will check and reply.

I found some information, but there is not much. I would love to read Tsanev's Bulgarian Chronicles., hopefully there is an translation of the books available.

I found some ebooks about the history of Bulgaria, but unfortunatly there isn't much in English, German, French or Spanish available.

Well I'm going to read the books I did found.
