What mobile carrier is the best and do they cover BB?

Hi there

Moving to Mauritius and one major concern for me is my Blackberry ahhahahahaha

What mobile carrier is the best to go with and what would it cost monthly to get either a contract SIM card or prepaid in order to still have BIS on my BB?

Take a look at the websites for Mauritius telecom and also Emtel Mauritius both mobile carriers for Blackberry here.

Blackberry on Z emtel costs rs.800 a month for unlimited access on Post paid. Orange and emtel have different schemes based on pre-paid or post paid.
Network of both operators is not really that great!! Probably Orange shades it better.

hi evestyles,

i had a job running on estates, from south to north of the island. compared to what network my collegues had, my emtel was low receiving signals at some places.

even at home sometimes, people gets connected to my voice box, instead of, me seeing the call on phone.

no remarks, but i think best coverage is Cell+ / Orange.
