Keeping fit in Indonesia

Hello everyone,

Keeping fit during your time in Indonesia is of utmost importance. How about sharing with us and your fellow expats how you keep healthy in your host country?

What are your daily health hacks in Indonesia?

Do you exercise regularly? What is your go-to sport?

Do you manage to keep your diet healthy and balanced? How easy is it to maintain a balanced diet in Indonesia? Are you able to find organic products easily?

Are there national or local incentives to foster a healthy lifestyle: sensitisation campaigns, sports infrastructure etc. ?

How much of your monthly budget is dedicated to keeping fit?

Please share your experience,

Priscilla

There are lots of gyms available ranging from the cheap and cheerful in villages to super hot and super expensive places with professional trainers, all at a very high cost.
Loads of martial arts clubs ranging from a guy visiting a village hall once  a week to professional, dedicated martial arts schools. A wide range of styles are available.
Jogging is common, especially on car free days in towns and cities - That's free.
My preference is walking with my camera. I walk for miles in 30 degree heat, that'll keep anyone reasonably fit.

I was enrolled in a gym,not so costly with free sauna steam and hot.

Eating lots of fruits and vegetables

Taking food supplement regularly,as a saying prevention is better than cure.

Socialize,do not be stress on daily routine.
