I was renting a 3 bedroom house for £650 a month, had to pay 1 months deposit and a month in advance and £300 in checks (mine and my husband's) to be able to rent it.

How about buying an apartment or a house in England?
depending on the area, how old the building is or if it is new build, goes £140k to £300 this is a standard house no manor or estate!

How much do you pay for basic food items such as rice, bread, and pasta?
I'm terrible at this, only thing I know it's that you should go buy at Lidls or Aldi's as it is cheaper than tesco and asda. m&s is more expensive.

What is your monthly budget for groceries?
£500 (family of 4) buying gluten free and lactose free

nhs is free. have not gone the private route so don't know. and many workplaces pay for your health insurance, so you can claim back a bit on dental or glasses and meds

How much does childcare cost on average per month?
when your child is 3, he/she gets 15hrs of childcare per week free. before then about £50+ per day. do your maths!

my eldest goes to a breakfast club. so that's £27 a month, he doesn't get free meals (doesn't qualify) but takes a lunch box. school meals are £2.15 a day
