Converting PEZA working visa (47a2) to Temporary Resident Visa (13a)

Has anyone had experience converting 47a2 visa to 13a visa? I have tried to research on BI website but it does not show a specific process for converting between these 2 visas in particular.

One of the requirement of PEZA visa I know is that once the visa is canceled or terminated, you will have to leave the country and come back under tourist visa. Is it possible that I can convert this visa to 13a visa without leaving the country?

Hi,
Yes you can convert your 47a2 visa to 13a visa as long as you are married with Filipina you are qualified for 13a visa.

First you will need to downgrade your working visa before you can proceed for 13a visa during your return here in the country.
Holders of 47a2 visa are required to leave the country after the visa downgrading process.

During your return you must present your downgrading order issued by PEZA mmigration together with your passport to avoid incorrect visa admission.
