I posted a couple weeks ago but didn't get any feedback so I thought I would try again....
Moving my family to Saigon (two kids...7 and 10). We are going to look for a house in District 2, but I was curious whether to live in Thao Dien, or Ahn Pu... any suggestions and why? Thx!!!😊

Sorry I can't give much help due to I am not in Q2.
You can Google "about anh Phu expats". I sent you hereby some of the hit about Thao Dien, inside the threads are there other links which can give you more info

I live in Q1, if I want to move I prefer the new "central park" , but it is long from downtown (q1 central) , let hope the metro is finished soon (and more modern buses) . I hope the government forbidden scooter soon, people are too lazy to walk anymore here

Thao Dien is populated with lots of expats and is overpriced. Anh Phu is the older area and much cheaper. Why not look at Phu My Hung, much better for families.
