We are headed to Ljubljana from US (Maine) on a Fulbright grant at the end of this month! We have 4 kids (12, 10, 8, and 8 months). I have been unable to find a place to live. I've tried this website https://www.realestate-slovenia.info/ and reached out to realtors on there - but so far I have received no response. Any ideas where and how I should find us a place to live?

I would advise you for first time to find some place out of Ljubljana.... in our heads this means 20-30 max km out of city ...after that you can hire an agent who will help you.
In fact you can text them now and tell your wisheses . It is very difficult to get appartment because of AirB&B . good luck

Hi there, there are many Apartments for Rent in Ljubljana and outside. The Problem is the Agents are not trustworthy.Hate to say this. It maybe because you are an American ? My experience was when I lived in Slovenia.Was the people were very anti British. But with Americans they just have no time for you and go out of there way to make life difficult for you. Good Luck.
