Iqama Renewal Issue


I need to know, if anyone here has an idea, that if an employee has one month remaining in the expiry of his iqama and his company terminates his job contract upon completion of one year, is the current sponsor not responsible to renew the iqama prior to the termination??? or is the employee responsible to pay his own iqama fees while he's still under the same sponsor?

Why would they renew the Iqama or keep you under their sponsorship if they terminate your contract?

They should give you a transfer to another employer or final exit as the case may be.
