Hi,
I have a life partner visa and we have 2 kids together. I have recently renewed the visa. However, our relationship is not good. I want out but I don't want to lose my kids or leave the country and risk never seeing them again.
Please advise.

You can consult a lawyer and fight the right to remain in SA while applying for another visa category or you can apply for a different category visa from your home country then return to SA.
