My Multi entry work visa states any one period of duration is 180 maximum. My question is when I exit the country lets say to Dubai or Bahrain how long do I have to be out of Saudi Arabia before I can re enter Saudi and start the next 180 day window. I appreciate all responses but can someone please provide me an official reference to this question so I can reference it to my boss. I mean like can I leave and come back the same day or do I have to be gone overnight what is the rule on this?

As far as I know, the period resets automatically on exit. To be on the safe side, come in on the next day e.g. exit on 1st and enter on 2nd.
