Im foreign and currently working in penang malaysia w/ Cat. 3 visa and will be expire this coming
Jan. 0f 2019. I also done 2x renewal (3yrs),and base in cat.3 visa rules i need to go back to my home country to undergo a 3 months cooling period.My question is......
1. Is there any way to renew my visa in same category even im done in 2x renewal w/o undergo of 3
months cooling period?just except the option of going to cat. 2 visa.
2. If i undergo for 3 months cooling period,can i return back to the same company?
i heard some information that if done 2x renewal for cat.3 visa and you undergo a 3 months cooling
you cannot return back to the same company,need to apply to other company.is it true?
3. If i undergo a 3 months cooling period and return back to the same company,my position,my salary
will be the same or it will need to change?or depends on the company?

Cooling Period
There are no exceptions for the 3 month cooling unless moving to Cat. 2. It is possible to return to the same employer on Cat. 3 and with the same job description and salary.

will apply for the cat. 3 visa again (3x time).Is there a possibility to approved or it
will denied by immigration?
These days there is a chance positions may be declined approval by immigration if the job could be done by a Malaysian. The salary guides the EP Category. The Cooling rule is worded this way:
1. Employment Pass Category III holders whose pass have been renewed for two (2) times or 3 years in a row MUST leave the country and serve 3 months cooling off period to be able to apply for Employment Pass Category III again. Exemption is only given for cases of Employment Pass Category III converting to Employment Pass Category I / II.
2. Employment Pass Category III holders who are changing employers MUST leave the country and serve 3 months cooling off period to be able to apply for Employment Pass Category III with different employer.
3. Visit Pass (Temporary Employment) holders who wanted to convert to Employment Pass (all categories) MUST leave the country and serve 3 months cooling off period to be able to apply for Employment Pass (all categories).
