I am working in Bahrain and my wife is working on a valid visa (as a doctor) in UAE. Can i sponsor her as spouse for residence visa in Bahrain and vise versa?

Theoretically, yes as one is a work visa and the other is a dependent visa. However, for women to sponsor their husbands, is a longer process with more requirements on the UAE side. Plus if you get UAE residency, you have to enter once every six months or residency is cancelled.
