Working in Brazil with just a little bit of spoken Portuguese

How does one find work here in Brazil if you are now married to a local and living in Guaiananzes - Sao Paulo area of the city.  And I do have the local Work Documents to legally work in Brazil.  So that is not the problem. I just need more Portuguese language under my belt or my hat to land a good job.  So that being said.  How would I go about landing a job with just the bare minimum of the local Portuguese language?  Can someone enlighten me a little bit on this subject?

If you already have a Labor Card, your natural first choice would be to make the rounds of the local language schools, to learn about opportunities teaching English, unless you're sure that teaching isn't for you.
