Hi everyone,
I'm considering moving from the UK to Penang to find a teaching job.
I just wanted to know if anyone has ever done this? If so, what advice/tips/precautions etc can you offer?

Make sure you get all the advised immunisations, refuse the anti malarial drugs because they're rubbish, tuck your degree under your arm, and give it a blast.
If you were to get all sensible instead of wild and crazy, I'd go for a holiday first with a photocopy of your degree, see if you like the place, then go job hunting.
Avoid the area around a pub called "Soho", the ladies have sausages (Unless that's your cup of tea)
