China Z visa

I just have a concern about the application for the Z Visa and thereafter the work permit. Can one be barred from getting the Chinese Z Visa if found to be HIV positive?

Being HIV+ would be a liability. To get a z-visa you will need to have a medical exam. The exam is at a special hospital that is ONLY examines expats for z-visas. It's a super easy procedure. Unless you are in a wheelchair, you will probably pass. However, please take note. They will take your blood. If they test for HIV, you would probably be disqualified.

So one will be automatically disqualified for testing HIV positive  and deported immediately?

My guess is probably. I am sorry to be the bringer of bad news. But I do not know this for certain. YOU need to check the internet for HIV status in visa applications to China. on Google. I cannot check. Google is banned here.
