I have curiosity in 2 years i will qualify for medicare i understand living in the Philippines doesnt qualify you to apply for it. There is no other choice?

You can sign up and pay for the portion of Medicare that costs but it is not usable in the Philippines so why bother having it?
The closest place you could use and US Medicare is Guam so again, no point in having it.

I'm not sure that's correct. One might easily decide to return to the mainland or Hawaii for major, elective surgery where Medicare and a supplement could be most helpful. The Phils is a tough place to be with respect to health insurance. I can't even apply to some insurance companies. In one, it's nearly $1,000 a month. It's a budget-buster to be sure.
