What is the price of accommodation in Hanoi (with cooking facilities)

Best to say what your budget is, everyone has a different opinion as to what is affordable.

Maybe decide on a budget before asking for information. You may get people saying 600 usd a month is a fair price to pay, but you may consider it too high. Therefore it will achieve nothing as nobody knows your budget.

I just did a quick search on AirBnB, using check in October 1, checkout Nov 1, to get the going monthly rates. I'll let you do that to determine if locations work for you, but it looks as if there are listings under ₫10,474,650 VND ($450.00 USD at current exchange rate) which fit your needs.

However, you can probably negotiate even better rates face-to-face. The hotel where I'm currently staying gave me a great monthly rate, once I'd already stayed here a couple of days.

I highly doubt anyone will ever get the best deal long distance.
