Current processing time of work permit.

I'm from China and got a job offer in March. The company applied for my work permit around mid-April. But the permit has not been issued yet.

Does it take over 4 months to issue a work permit these days? Could anyone please share their experience? Thanks.

From what I found online, it seems that the toughening of work permit regulations in Jan 2018, coupled with an increase in applications have slowed the issuing process down.
It seems it can take from 4 to 6 months.

Thanks a lot for the info.

Waiting for 4 - 6 months is really tiring and frustrating, but I guess I have to live with it.
Upon getting the permit, I will update this thread, and hopefully make it a useful reference for future applicants.

P.S.
If only the voivode's office or immigration office had an online status checking page.
