I am recently retired and looking to relocate to Cyprus next year and am interested in the Peyia/Tala area.
Are there areas in Peyia/Tala to avoid?

Hi they are both good areas I lived in peyia for 3 years both areas have plenty of British living there gala is higher up than peyia so gets abit colder in winter peyia is next to coral bay and there's a nice big supermarket call phipipos its about 20/30 minutes from the airport latchi is very nice to lovely beach but a lot further away good luck hope it goes well I'm trying to get back myself moved back to the UK and regretted it ever since been back 18 months unfortunately I'm 51 and not at retirement age yet so I worked out there as soon as I've made enough I'm going back there's other cheaper places to shop like smart shop up

Both good areas gala is higher up I lived in peyia for 3 years next to coral bay been back in the UK 18 months hate it unfortunately I'm 51 so had to work there I'm trying to get back there next year myself Philippe supermarket at coral bay and smart shop up the polis road are OK for shopping in you buy there products its slot cheaper but I'd advice you by a BBQ we had barbie every night fruit and veg cost next to nothing pork is cheap good luck if I can help you anymore your welcome to give me a call on **** david
