Any chances of rejection by civil status office ?

I want to marry Mauritius women, I got all information and documents required for marriage as foreigner. I want to know is there any chances of rejection by civil status office if so what are the reasons.

Yes, there are many reasons that could compel the authorities to reject a marriage proposal and quite a number of marriages involving foreigners have been rejected recently.

Your financial status, your employment/professional activity record, your travel history to Mauritius if any, etc are some of the reasons. There are others of course. Any hint that leads the authorities to believe your are in for a 'sham' wedding will lead to a rejection of your application.

Thanks dear,
Do the civil status official take my original passport, for marriage.

please dont do white -black wedding for the sake of passport

Like a person genuine and it you pass the immigration test , then you wil be allocated mauritian citizen for a limited period first until for permanent

What does "Mauritian citizen for a limited period" mean? :/

it means be granted citizenship for a period of time around 5/10 years and after 5/10 years you will be granted citizenship for life.

Say that again !

How can one get naturalization on a temporary basis?
It is either you are granted citizenship or not by a country where initially you are considered  a foreign non-citizen.
Citizenship is given for life upon naturalization and in some cases, one has to renounce their birth-country nationality before being naturalized by another country.

Is it  like that oxymoron term used by the govt: Permanent Resident Permit - good for ONLY 10 years ?

additional information can be retrieved here. please have a look.

Again what are you referencing or linking to?

Citizenship or Resident Permit or permanent Resident permit?

They are NOT the same !

Oh yes we do!!!  Everyone on here right now is saying the same thing.  There are huge differences between residencies and citizenship.  Again what are you referencing to?

Many cases of marriage like this .... always end up in divorce.   I have seen so many cases of people getting used and abused afterwards
