At the end of July I'll move in Riyadh and the company told me that I can choose the compound that I want to live in, but I have no clue about them.I have a housing allowance of 50k a year but I can add some extra from my own money if I want/need for better position and life style.
I lived in Europe all my life and I'll come there to work as a Restaurant GM for a new opening in As Sulimaniyah so I'm looking for a modern/nice life style compound and not to far from work.
Could you please help me with some recomandations for compounds and prices?
I speak Italian,Spanish,English and Romanian !
Need some advice where to find a good 1br/studio flat in a compound !

This is not a comprehensive list and not all are listed. New compounds keep coming up and going. Generally, the housing market is down and availability is not an issue.
However, the good western compounds have kept their value.
Have a look and see what fits your needs. Do some research and when you come here, stay in a hotel for a month or so to physically go and see. Not all the pictures and facilities are representative

Thank you very much for your help and I did/do some reserch.I'll move to a hotel for the first month but will help a lot to hear some actual opinions of different people's experience in differents compounds.

Ask about the specific compounds then.
From my side, Al-Bustan is probably the best in Riyadh but also the most expensive. It is not near Salmaniyah but near the airport so you are looking at a 40 min commute everyday at least.
