Hi, I'm an expatriate working in Oman. I want to register a company.
I have a Omani partner.
Am I required to have NOC from my current employer to register the company?
Once I register the company, I will be required to switch my visa from employer to Investor. Does this also requires NOC?

The answer to both your queries is 'Yes'.
Both of those moves would require your employer's NOC.
