Hi cheatan1k,

The vaccinations given to children in India and in Oman are not the same.

In Oman, certain shots are not prescribed or given since they are not needed.

It is best that you take your child's immunisation records to a Paediatrician and consult with the doctor on what are the shots to be given and by when.

You may have to go to private hospitals only for giving those shots since the government hospitals / clinics / medical centres do not take in children born outside Oman for FREE vaccinations.

The unscrupulous private hospitals and polyclinics charge a hefty sum for each of these vaccinations, while in the government-run establishments it is absolutely for free - for both the nationals and the resident expatriate children. Hail His Majesty !
