Hi

I am interested in doing the TEFL Certification in Mauritius for this summer. Could someone please advise if we can do the certification in Mauritius or if there is an equivalent that I can do? please

Perhaps contact the British Council, they will surely guide you.

I know you can take a CELTA course there, they probably have options for you.

TEFL: Teaching English as a Foreign Language
CELTA: Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (now known as Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)

CELTA is provided by Cambridge and may require more hours to complete.
