Hi,
I have around 4 years of IT experience in India. Recently got an offer of MYR 6k for malaysia location. I am trying to understand if this compensation is at par with expat salary with same level of experience. Can I save any amount if I am plan to bring my family to KL.
Is MYR 6k enough to sustain in malaysia

A couple can also survive on RM6 but accommodation will be more expensive as will need own apartment. During the period 28% non-resident income tax is deducted it will be tight financially i.e. until July 2019, but still doable for a couple - just.
