Got oman work visa but don't want to join job.

I my employer in oman applied for my work visa but now I don't want to join them. Can I get into any trouble legally. I visited oman on tourist visa for 1 month and returned to India. Now I don't want to joint them and will stay in India only. Please guide. Is there any legal threat that I may face?

Hope you have informed of your decision to the employer who is applying for your employment visa.

If you have not yet informed him, inform immediately so that he can stop the process.

While it is entirely up to you whether you wish to join or not, have you given your consent to join by signing an offer letter or an employment contract ?
