While my visa is based on my work permit Visa type "D" and I have resigned my work, would my visa be valid to travel any other schengen country from Poland if I intend to do?
Your answer and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

You have 15 work days to notify your local Voivode Office (counting fromm the date of work end). Then you gain 30 day legal stay that you can use for getting a new job...
If you overstay this period without submitting residence application, you become illegal.

Travel: as long as the visa is valid it's possible, but consider securing your further stay before travelling, especially that you have a national visa which is intended mainly for stay in Poland.
