I have heard that the option to 'reside with a Turkish Citizen sponsoring you' (Tahutname notary letter) is no longer accepted for residence (Ikamet) purposes, you must either buy property, or lease a property in your own name (rent an apartment or house in your own name).
Does anyone have clarification of this, or accepted/rejected applications recently (within this month) due to this rule?

What i know about the residence permit that you can easily apply for turistical one which is the easiest and you can get it within couple of months for one year depending on which city that you are applying through.
