Expats with loans at bank and subject for relocation

Hi all,

Posting for a friend:
My friend is about to leave BraZil due to change of project location and she is worried about the remaining loans and credit cards that may leave here in Brazil.
On the other hand, she have current application to imigrate to Canada.
She is worried in case she got difficulty or delay to pay it back,? Is not paying debts Connected to criminal records (will it be related)?
I dont know how to help her too.

Terms and conditions of the loan will apply. Yes if she defaults a judgement will be on her record.
Many loans accrue large interest and that interest adds up.
I would recommend larger than minimum payment now or payoff.
