Hi Friends,

I recently got offer for a techno functional position in IT , I have 12 years experience and I would like to know what salary should I expect. They said 18000 they are offering per year which is 1500 per month , they will take care of health insurance.

Depends on level of experience. You can have 20 years experience as an IT analyst vs. someone who is an IT director with 15 years total experience - the salary would be very different.

I don't know about the IT industry but the salary that you mention; in multinationals, it is for semi senior positions i.e. 5-7 years of experience or so. In local companies, it can be considered as a good salary.
