Costs for a Lawyer to do Pension Visa:

Good day, eh:

I am in Vancouver, just bought a house in Puerto Lopez.
A Lawyer in Cuenca quoted an all up price of $1500.

How much did anyone here using a Lawyer Pay. And, anything
close to Puerto Lopez.

Thanks.

Bruce

Dear Bruce,

My attorney charged me $700 in 2014, plus government fees.  That included a $200 discount courtesy of my membership with Gary A. Scott's Ecuador Living.

My guy has a practice in Quito and the Ecuador coast.

In addition to brilliantly handling my visa and problems that came up along the way, he assisted me successfully in getting my EC drivers license and is currently working for me in connection with a new investment account that is USA-based.

Thank you , Sir:

I was looking up by the Border, but found a great Deal
in Puerto Lopez. It really appears to help by shopping around.

I have sent an email to the gentleman, requesting an estimate.

Thanks again.

Bruce B.

He wants $800 + %12 Tax + $650 Expenses now, and needs me to come to Quito.

I decided to go with Sara Chaca in Cuenca ( ecuadorvisas.com ) who will come to Manta
$1500 all up costs and guaranteed results.

Thanks for your assistance.

Do you really even need a lawyer? I dont think so...at least not technically in Ecuador....In Panama yes....but most of these countries do not require a lawyer to get your residency.......not saying you wouldnt need a bit of guidance......but you can do it yourself for a lot less......how much are just the govt fees? And the apostilled documents? How much are you willing to work to save half of that?
