If you are looking for a german teacher, i would advise you to drop an ad about your search in the Language classes in Munich section.

Finding people to help in addition is good but one should really take some German courses to get started. The better German one has before arrival the better. Once in Germany, usually the cheapest good offers are through the Volkshochschule a form of community college located in every major German city.
