I am an ex pat Canadian living with my Thai wife in her home village and am here on a Marriage Visa. The village has a "community village" store that is operated by volunteers. Any villager can volunteer and my wife has offered to do so. Am I allowed to assist her in any way or is a work visa required......if so, is this considered to be "prohibited for farangs"? Appreciate any informed advice

Might be an idea to go to the relevant Thai authority that deals with this, and if ok get something in writing, then you would be covered.
