most of the basic HR rules are as per government. Like first 100 days, it is one day notice from both the sides. After 100 days, it is 3 months notice again from both sides. Government medical card is mandatory which has no value. KSCT may need to provide private insurance which would be from 3rd party and has certain rules. You would end up paying about 20% or more of the medical cost. Kids education fees varies from international schools to Asian or bilingual schools. The fees may range between 200 KD per year in a Pakistani school to 4000 KD per year in British or American school.
KCST is private university which has some humorous rules but do not question them or argue with them. They have invested heavily and now trying to make profit in all possible ways which they are finding difficult. Egyptians and Lebanese are majority in all the universities in Kuwait and they keep fighting with each other for alien reasons.
