I have been physically assaulted by another colleague in my own office room. I have registered a complaint with police after taking medical report. Now the Company is forcing me to withdraw the case and getting me scared that you yourself will get into trouble due to this complain. Please update on it based on your knowledge.

usually Police will call your colleague to investigate and be under arrest ..and they will ask you to go to The Public Prosecution to investigate with you and etc..
In some case after investigation with both of you / yes you might be in trouble and you may both of you get in jail until to go to court ! It is kind of complicated route here ..
I suggest you withdraw your case and fix it with him by your Company ..but remember once you withdraw your case from the police you , you will not be able to open the case again unless if there is new assaulting .
