Private Health Insurance - Monthly Payment Plan

Hi,
My wife and I  (both EU citizens - UK) have decided
to obtain Private Health insurance.  We want a
comprehensive health cover which would provide
both in-patient and out-patient treatment.

We expect the premium will be quite high, so we
probably wouldn't be able to pay the full annual
amount, We are therefore looking for a company
which would accept payment of the  annual
premium by monthly instalments.

Can anyone recommend a Health insurance provider
which offers this sort of plan.

Thanks.

Are you retired?

If one of you is in receipt of a UK state pension than you can apply for health cover through the S1 route.
This will give you full health cover both here AND in the UK without the need for private health cover and you will also be entitled to a UK issue EHIC card. This card may of course cease after Brexit.

I'm not receiving a UK state pension yet, so not retired.

We've chosen to go for private health insurance now
as if we leave it any longer the premiums will become
much higher as we get older.  Yes, the worry of what will
happen post Brexit is on our mind, so being in a private
health insurance scheme will pr-empt any rule changes.
