Hi any ideas on whether it is better to move all furniture ftom SA or sell up and purchase everything new?

I've also asked around and your appliances are mostly useless there. I've been told, sell everything except sentimental stuff and buy the rest in the USA. People throw out brand new stuff, I've heard of people picking stuff up from peoples pavements. And theres Craiglist as well, which is helpful with everything. A lot of people buy second hand stuff and with time replace it with new stuff. Personally I'm taking all my books, my cosmetics, clothing, my bead collection and sentimental stuff like stuff that I've inherited.

I would recommend selling everything and buy in USA. You can buy used furniture here in US and brand new ones too, with a variety of prices.
