Higher Overtime Rates KSA

Is there a law or regulation when imposing a higher regular overtime rates for workers in KSA? Let us say 200% or 300% when the regular OT rates is 150%?

- Regular law is 150% on working days and 200% for holidays including weekends.
- That being said, the general rule of thumb is if any new regulation by an employer (sponsor), that is for the welfare of employees is allowed and accepted. However, if it is for opposite; it is considered as illegal.

For example; if the employer makes the overtime rate on holidays as 300%; it's accepted. However, if he makes it 100% (rather than 200%), it becomes illegal.
